Exciting things

Yay! Things are starting to fall into place! My service canoeing trip looks like its going to be a really good time - I've been working with this park ranger whose been amazing and I am excited to finally meet him. Park Rangers get really excited about things, it makes me laugh. Last night I got to watch the sneak peak of the National Park documentary on PBS and it was awesome, I can't wait until the whole series starts in the fall. A couple of my friends and I are going whitewater rafting in two weeks on the Ocoee River for the day - I am beyond excited about this! Also, today I brought my mountain bike into the local bike store for a tune up and met some really nice people there. I get my bike back on wednesday, a day before I head out to VA for our big bike ride. One of my good guy friends from college is getting back from Alaska at the end of the week and we're planning a backpacking trip on the cumberland trail for a long weekend in the next month. So many fun things to do and not enough time!
I've been noticing that the days are getting shorter and then sun is setting earlier and earlier - NO! PANIC! I am not ready to give up my summer yet! Although I do have a grill now, and my friends are really excited about grilling out as much as possible (which will be nice when its not so hot outside). I've been in Clarksville for over 6 months now and I realized this past week that its becoming more and more like home and I've got alot of people who have become like family to me. (Don't worry... I'm still headed to Seattle as soon as I can!)
