I am loving this summertime weather! Starting this past Friday it has been 85 degrees and sunny! This weekend was the Music City Marathon in Nashville and two of my college buddies came down to run in it on Saturday. So I felt a little guilty that they were out there running so I went to Port Royal State Park and ran/walked a loop which I thought was only 3 miles, turned out it was 6 miles. I am still sore from it. After my jaunt around the park I headed out to Nashville to see my freinds while they were in town. We walked around downtown and went to the Country Music Hall of fame. It was fun hanging out with them and we went out to dinner afterwards.
Sunday morning I headed out to Perry County, TN to Mousetail State Park and Lady's Bluff with a friend. It was a gorgeous day and we hiked about 5 miles. When we got to the bluff we sprawled out on the rocks like lizards to soak up the afternoon sun. The weather this upcoming week looks to be rain rain rain. Oh well! This weekend was perfect weather and I enjoyed every minute of it.
