Kelty runs the yard

When you have a puppy, everyday is an adventure.

Friday we went to the Vet for the first time. I did alot of research to pick the best Vet in town, and decided on St. Bethlehem Animal Hospital. The Vet gave her puppy shots and dewormer and clipped her toe nails. She did a great job until they stuck the thermometer up her butt and after that she wasn't having a good time anymore. So she peed on the floor.

Saturday was great weather so we had a puppy play date with a chocolate lab who is 2 weeks older than her. I really want her to be socialized with other dogs so it was important that she have some doggie dates. Well... even though this other lab is only 2 weeks older than her, he was the largest of his litter and she is the runt of hers. He was three times her size and wanted to play rough. He would paw her to the ground and chew on her ear and she FREAKED out. I then spent the next 4 hours keeping them seperated and entertained. It was a disaster.

Jameson, the playdate

Sunday it was 65 degrees outside so we went out in the grass and played and ran around for about an hour. Kelty is scared of everything. But we played so much that she slept for hours afterward.

This is MY house!
