So... After turning 25 last month, I had decided that it was time for a dog. So.. Jasin and I had been keeping an eye out for the past two months at the local animal shelters for any dogs that caught our eyes and hearts. Well we got word about an animal shelter out in rural TN that was overloaded with 15 puppies on Monday and then another 20 puppies on Wednesday. So we went out there to see if we could take a look. When we got out there, the shelter was closed because there were too many puppies and the vet was there to euthanize half of them. So the employees brought out three of the puppies that were on the list to be euthanized, but were at the back of the line. When someone tells you that if you don't take this adorable, loving puppy home - its going to be put down... you just CAN'T turn your back on it! Luckily Jasin was there otherwise I would have come home with three puppies. Seriously.
So we picked the calmest puppy and brought her home, gave her a bath, and we all watched the winter olympic opening ceremony together.
Our puppy (still not named yet!)
