Chili

Enjoyed a much calmer work week this past week. I am really enjoying new living arrangement with Brianna. We have been cooking a lot, and have had friends over to eat several times. My friend Jeff came over and made fried chicken one night and we had some friends over Saturday night while it was cold and rainy out and we made chicken wings, cheese fries, and artichoke/spinach dip. I registered Brianna and I in a chili cook off at school for homecoming, so today we are making different chili and I made some cornbread. Our expensive new couch was delivered on Friday – and it is delightful! This upcoming week is my sustainability week that I organized on campus – going to be stressful. Then on Friday I am leading a fall break trip to West Virigina until Tuesday. We are working at Bridge Day at the New River Gorge as well as home rehabilitation in rural Appalachia. Its going to be freezing! The weather today was great! Mid 60s and sunny, I went for an 8 mile bike ride and a visit to the recycling center. Fingers crossed that the weather is nice for the upcoming week!
