Welcome second trimester

Please oh please spirits of pregnancy, may the days of dry heaving, nausea, vomiting, deceiving hiccups,& exhaustion please be a thing of the past. This is really starting to get frustrating as symptoms hold on tight as time passes!

The use of ginger candy (gross), ginger ale (yum), saltines and other aids have run their course and my mom has had sea bands ordered and sent to me to help with morning sickness (which hits around 3 pm and lasts all night). If they work for me, they might help her on the month long cruise she is headed for.

And yet, everyone feels sorry for Jasin in all of this - he now gets to do all the home repairs by himself as not many of the materials are safe for me to be around. Kelty is really perturbed by all these changes, but she certainly doesn't mind the increased cuddle time in bed with her mom, as bed time for me now averages around 6 30 pm.
It's safe to say we haven't made many preparations for baby yet - we are more focused on getting the house in order. Tomorrow we call contractors and I call AC installers so that central air will be part of my life come the inevitable spring weather arrives.
Below is a picture of my niece Molly on her first birthday this week with the birthday gift we got her (and how we told her parents the big news).
