We finally closed! Homeowners!

At 10 am central time today, we signed a million papers and now the house is officially ours! We have spent almost every night over at the house working on the wallpaper in the hallway - and we are 20 minutes from having 100% of the wallpaper off the walls in that space, and 75% finished with the glue removal in that space. This wall paper was applied by using a paint brush to put the glue on the walls - and then the wallpaper. It has been intense. See below:
We have a long weekend ahead of us :) Lots of cleaning and then starting to remove the master bedrooms wallpaper. The reason we are removing the wallpaper so quickly, is that the walls are plaster and have cracks in them that need fixing. We don't have to pull up carpet or linoleum until the walls are good to go (fixed and painted).Jasin has been studying up on plaster walls, and feels confident he can tackle the job. I have him starting with cracks in our new closet - just in case. This is where our hopes lie for the weekend:
