The tale of the appliance nightmare

While my peers are all posting pictures of their Christmas trees and getting them into the house - Jasin and I spent our Saturday trying to switch out the appliances in the house. We had a long list of goals to achieve today, when in reality it took about 2.5 hours to switch out appliances. Also, it was raining. Our kitchen is in the back of the house, but the fridge will only fit out of the front door. Also, the fridge in the house does not have wheels on the bottom . We needed to take the door off the hinge to easily fit the fridge through the door - but a screw was stripped and we couldn't get the door off. I don't think I have ever seen Jasin get so frustrated :) it took all of us ( Brianna & Jasin's friend Jon) including Bodie & Kelty . The washer & dryer also got switched out. Our "laundry room" is in bad shape and needs additional insulation and the floor needs to be redone. After spending an afternoon working in it- it has moved up on our renovation list. Jasin got to take out his frustration with the fridge on the demolition upstairs. The former owner has built a bar upstairs and we are planning on making that space our family room. The bar will not be staying. I left the house with Brianna and the pups as Jasin took a hammer to the bar and the demo begins!
