For the past week I have been roaming around North Carolina with Jasin and Kelty. We also brought a uhaul full of furniture that my parents let me borrow when I moved out to TN originally. Trevor has moved into his own apartment in Boone and needed furniture - so being a generous sister I passed on some furniture. Kelty spent an afternoon in Boone and then we headed through Winston Salem to Southern Pines where we spent 4 peaceful days at home. Kelty and Pepper became great playmates and Kelty really enjoyed the open backyard. Jasin and I cooked dinner for the whole family one night and then another night we went to eat dinner with Grammy. She made chicken and dumplings and Jasin had 4 helpings! We all went to the movies and saw the movie "Dinner for smucks" which Dad laughed until he cried.
We then went down to Wilmington and Topsail Beach for the weekend to visit my best friend Dawn and her husband Zach. They have two huge labs so Kelty was the center of their affection. We took Kelty to the beach for the first time and she loved the ocean and the sand. It was soo much fun and now I am back at work :( This was my last vacation until Christmas.
