I am in the land of milk and cheese, COW LAND!
Jasin and I began our journey to drive 16 hours to Ely, MN yesterday to go canoeing and camping for a week in the great Boundary Waters area near Canada. On Thursday evening we picked up my brother Trevor at the airport so he could house sit/ dog sit Kelty while we are gone. Kelty loves Trevor. She covered him with kisses the entire drive back from the airport and even slept next to him. Obviously she loves people - even Trevor!
Kelty knew we were packing to go on an adventure and she wanted to go with us really badly. She even jumped into Jasin's car's trunk as he was putting his pack into it. This was not an easy jump for Kelty but she was determined.
Today we drive 8 hours to Ely and then Sunday morning we put out on the water with hopes to return on the following Friday to Ely.
